Christmas in July Card + Challenge entry

I found this adorable christmas cupcake digi stamp, and had to use it! Lots of card challenge websites are doing the "christmas in July" theme, but I actually entered this card into a sketch challenge at Sweet sketch Wednesday.

I like it a lot because I trued to think outside the box and add some elements I haven't used before ( the green diamond gems). I have been making an effort to use some of the odds and ends in my craft supplies and I think this turned out pretty cute!

I think as I do more challenges, I am getting better at the creative process and making better quality cards. I know that there are some amazing card makers out there, but practice makes perfect, right? If you have any comments or suggestions I would love to hear them!

Anyway, I have a few more finished cards to add to my blog once my camera adapter decides to work, so until then!

  9. Practice and stepping out of our box is what makes each of grow and get better every day...so always keep being creative and enjoying what you do. I love the Santa cupcake, but then I have a thing of Santa! Your gems are a perfect touch with this card.
