Wow, I feel like I haven't posted on here in forever. I had one of those creative streaks, so I figured i'd share with you what I have been up to.
First of all, I made an etsy shop! Yay! I am part of the cool kids club now. It only has a few (very) random things, but I am happy I finally took the plunge!
I also saw sugarbelle's 4th of July cookie post, and decided to take a stab at it (I haven't made cookies in a LONG time, ever since I was in a car accident, and my hand are really shaky. I finally gathered up the courage and figured, even if the lines aren't straight, they'll still taste good! (By the way, I love her sire! It is so inspiring!
Sorry its yellowish, it was dark and I had to use the kitchen light.. but you get the idea, I hope.
Let's see.. I got some awesome yard sale deals last weekend. A vintage typewriter for $20, Some folders, (I got a book on how to do bookbinding and learned that folders are way cheaper than chip board!) I found some awesome crayons from 1970 - still in amazing condition, theyre so cute!
Art wise, I have been working on...
I scored this at a yard sale for 50 cents, and decided to paint it purple of all colors! I am still debating on covering the cork board or not...
Also, I attempted at making a dream journal with some fabric I got at- you guessed it - a yard sale.
It literally took me about 5-6 hourse but its sooo cute! I am really happy with it, being my first attempt.
Tomorrow & Friday are yard sale days, now that my camera battery is nice and happy again I'll take some pictures of any cool things I find!
Thanks for reading!

Free Glad Trash Bags?
Hi everyone! Sorry, I haven't posted in a few days - lots of weddings this summer, and I was house/dog sitting for my parents. I should have a new post up soon, within the next day or so (depending on how much of my cleaning gets done). Until then, I wanted to share a free sample of Glad trash bags, if you aren't a member of vocalpoint it is a pretty cool website. You can try different products, and give reviews on them. You can take surveys so the website can send you freebies based on what you use & how you live. So far I have gotten free toothpaste, $10 off a craftsman power tool, and now the trash bags. (What you are offered is also based on where you live, there have been more offers but I didn't get to them in time!) Anyway, the link for the free trash bags is

Hope this was helpful!

Some thoughts on ideas and how to organize them
I had initially written this post on some scrap paper, with this funky pencil I found at Michael's. Turns out, yellow, even when marbled with a bunch of colors, is still painful to read on a computer! So, here is the non-eye bleeding version. :D
I was thinking to myself about my next blog post. What should I be focusing on? Content, personal stuff, things I find inspiring?
I found myself inside my head. I have had so many ideas, stories, and generally inspiring thoughts, all I could see clearly was how overwhelming all of that can be.
So, I took a breath, backed up, and looked at my ideas one by one. Looked at my general priorities, and made what now is, and will remain, a working "list in progress" of things I want to do, highest priority first. I know that as long as I have this list, somewhere out in the open that I can see, I will know what goal I am working towards. And, since it is a list in progress, if I find myself thinking that I need to re-organize, add, or skip a project that I don't feel inspired to work on, I have already given myself control in this new system I have set up.
I know that by giving myself this freedom, I am more likely to actively track and use this list as a guideline of what *I* want, and what I feel is important to do.
I know being stuck in a funk can take its toll on you. Although this is a simple solution, I hope that someone can adapt these ideas into your own future planning.
Thank you for reading!
