Butterfly Girl

Hi everyone! I am back with a new card I made for my design team, the challenge over at Fat pages and cards with attitude is Anything Goes, so be sure to check it out!

Here is the card -

I used a digi image that was provided and colored it with my touch twin markers. The papers were some scraps from my stash, and I hand cut two butterflies out of some glittery pink paper and embellished them with some pearls, and also put some blue bling in the center of her feather brooch  I cut some wide lace in half and used it as a boarder for the digi image as well as some pink satin ribbon across the card. The sentiment is from All That Scraps.

Card for a Dad

Hi everyone, i'm back with a new card I made yesterday. Sorry I haven't posted this last week, I was actually making my first paper bag mini album! I think it turned out awesome, and I will definitely have some pictures up soon. Also, my brother came home from boot camp, so it had just been very hectic.


Anyway, back to today's card! I was inspired by a couple of blog challenges, specifically Simon Says Stamp (Father's Day theme) and Inspired by Stamping (Sketch). So, here is the card!

(sorry for the odd picture size, it was my first 6x6 card in a long while, and I had some trouble photographing it)

For this card I used a scrap boarder sticker and cut it in half lengthwise to use as a boarder. The two patterned papers are from Simple Stories Aweso{ME} collection, I tied some some generic twine around the side and tied it in a knot, and added a few buttons from Buttons Galore. The sentiment I used is from Amy R All About Dad stamp set, and the heart is punched out from a red paint chip swatch.

Clean and Simple

Hello again everyone! Today I have a clean and simple card I have made to enter into a couple challenges. Here is the card -

I used orange and blue patterned paper to make the chevron pattern, and to do so I followed a tutorial on YouTube that you can find here. I used a sentiment from All That Scraps, and the ink is Stampin' Up Taken with Teal. The base is just standard white card stock.

Sweet Tooth

Happy Mothers Day! I've got another card that I made for a couple of challenges, and I'd like to share it with you all.

I used a All That Scraps image, with some patterned paper scraps as well as some embossed teal colored paper, pink ric rac and a felt pink flower with a yellow rosette and blue brad. I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Anything Goes / Butterflies and Blooms

Today at Fat Pages and Cards with Attitude, there is a new challenge! The theme is Anything Goes / Butterflies and Blooms, and as I am a new member of the DT it is my first challenge there that I have contributed a project.

Here is the card I made:

I chose the "Isabella" image from Anita's Digital designs, and colored her with my colored with Touch twin markers. I distressed the edge with Tim Holtz 'Tea Dye' distress ink. I used papers from K&Company and distressed those as well, added pearls to the butterflies and a Martha Stewart 3D sticker. The sentiment is from All that Scraps "So Wordy" and stamped with Stampin' Up Tempting Turquoise.

Brown and Pink Happy Birthday

A couple of my favorite blogs are hosting new challenges, so I decided to make a card today and enter into a few challenges. One Simon Says Stamp, and the challenge for this week was to make a Birthday themed card. They are having their 3rd anniversary and are offering four prizes to win! I had to join, I just love their kit of the month, and of course show my appreciation for the site by entering my own card. Another fun challenge blog I enjoy is the Deconstructed sketch, and I just can't help myself when it comes to those sketches, they are just so different and inspiring! Now, onto the card:

The brown and pink solid papers are from a digi kit called fairy baby, although I can't find the link to the store right now!The brown patterned paper is from a Me & MY Big Ideas Birthday Paper Pad, the girl stamp is from All That Scraps, and the cute pink bow embellishment was something I just found in my stash.

I'm back with another card I made for a challenge, this one was based on a photo inspiration, which you can find at touch twin challenges. Here is the card:

For this card, I used my touch twin markers, the colors I used are: Y38, R8, GY47, and R135. The papers were all scraps from an Easter digi kit freebie, and the ribbon was from my stash (I believe I got it from a yard sale awhile ago with a bunch of loose ribbon pieces) the blue and white cardstock are both from a Staples brand pack.
